The NEW Heirloom Bridal Accessory

The NEW Heirloom Bridal Accessory

I'm not a sentimental person particularly, but there is something about the word heirloom that sounds kinda special, don't you think?  Wearing something on your wedding day that is full of love from generations gone by is a comforting thought for sure.
.
BUT, not everyone has access to that beautifully preserved treasure worn by someone special from years ago.  So, what to do?
.
Well, I've been thinking.... Why not be the trail-blazer.  Be the innovator that creates the heirloom for your future loved ones to revel in for years to come.
.
.
Why not be the branch in your family tree that kicks it all off?
.
When I really think about it, I want to be the one who created such a god-damn amazing wedding look that all those who come after me want a piece of it.

So, that leads me to ask, what would your heirloom bridal accessory be?  What beautiful piece will tell your story to generations to come and how are you going to make it truly yours to start with?  After all, what's an heirloom without your personality embroidered into it.
.
Personalisation of your bridal accessory can come in many forms.  Maybe a silk bow, hand-embroidered with an image of a flower from your bouquet or hand-beaded initials of you and your lover embroidered onto a decorative veil.  It could be an embellished sash or belt hand-sewn with sequins and beads celebrating all your favourite colours.  Or have you thought about an embroidered handkerchief tucked inside your purse, maybe even a sequin buttonhole worn proudly on your lapel.
.
The options for customising your bridal look are endless.
Let your imaginiation run wild.
.
Real bride Sara's customised version of my Tattoo bow veil is a lovely example of how personalisation can become precious.  Every decorative detail including the colour represents who Sara is and what's important to her which means not only did she look absolutey knock-out on her wedding day wearing a fresh and modern decorative bow veil, but more then that, Sara's bow veil had heartfelt meaning that can be treasured for years to come.

So, with the new heirloom piece in mind, let me show you some of my veils and bows from the latest collection of decorative, hand-embellished bridal accessories, Anemone.   Any of these hand-embroidered beauties would make the perfect piece to start your family treasure trove.  And whilst taking a peek, why not imagine how you would customise them making them perfect and precious to you.
